For Church Weddings in Bournemouth there is no better place than Richmond Hill St Andrew's church

We are a very popular location for church weddings for three reasons:

1. Our's is a beautiful church. We can accommodate a grand wedding with over a thousand people. Or if you only have fifty people your ceremony will still feel inimate due to the shape of the building and the curved pews that snuggle round the front. (See closer view of church wedding venue) We won a civic prize for our church gardens, ideal for photographs. There is excellent car parking space.
    
2. We welcome those who want to marry in church whether for the first time or after a previous disappointment. We try and strengthen relationships and share the rich resources of Christian faith and love.
    
3. We are often thanked for making the ceremony so personal. Every wedding is different, because each couple is different. We encourage our couples to think out all the details including music and readings to reflect their own special concerns. You can make use of our magnificent Church organ, or make your own selection of classic music or  solo singers. We have even had brass bands and pipers. 




Arranging a church wedding in Bournemouth

If you would like to arrange a wedding at our church in the heart of Bournemouth, please come along on Sunday and see the church at worship and join in. This will allow you to experience our welcome and of course meet the Minister, Martin Ambler. We can then meet to talk over your hopes and how and when we can help.

We encourage people who marry here to share in worship because we see this as part of our preparation for Christian marriage and marriage in church. We also know that we can help you best when we get to know you as a couple, as well as being the bride and groom.

Part of our commitment as a church is to share the promises and commitments that are made by you at the alter. We too, will stand by you 'in sickness and in health' and offer our support. Whenever anyone who marries here asks for guidance, we are ready to listen, encourage and pray for them.
