| In full song, the Tredegar Orpheus male voice choir conducted by Ian Waite their musical director |
The Tredegar Orpheus traditional Welsh male voice choir comprising about 50 singers came to Richmond Hill St Andrew's on:
Saturday 22nd October
They sang a medley of popular and traditional songs and generously offered all proceeds from the concert to go to our church funds.
The churchraised a welcome £1,500 from this event. With a BIG THANKS to all the choir and Ian Waite the musical director for a wonderful occasion and a generous gift.
We celebrated Richmond Hill's 154th anniversary on Sunday the 12th September. Guest preacher for both morning and evening services was the Rev John Marsh immediate past moderator of the General Assembly of the United Reformed Church. Tea was served in the lounge in the afternoon for our friends from other local URCs who celebrated with us.
