Tredegar Orpheus Male Voice Choir

The Tredegar Orpheus traditional Welsh male voice choir comprising about 50 singers came to Richmond Hill St Andrew's  on

Saturday 22nd October at 7.30 pm.

They sang a medley of popular and traditonal songs. They have generously offered all proceeds from the concert to go to our church funds.

Organ concerts in Bournemouth

By popular demand, this year is our sixth summer season of Saturday afternoon Organ Concerts in Bournemouth Town Centre.

These very special concerts take place  throughout the summer months of  July, August, September and October on our recently restored Lewis organ.

This year the Organ Concerts feature:

Our large size video screen gives a close-up view of the performer at the organ console.

Admission is only £5.00 except for the Celebrity Concert by Geoffrey Morgan on September 8th which is £7.00

The concert on September 22nd will be the “Eileen Bolt Memorial Recital” sponsored by the Bournemouth & District Organists’ Association. Miss Bolt was a member of Richmond Hill Church and assisted in running the Children’s Choir of ‘Little Church’ now St.Andrew’s Chapel, as well as being on the committee of the Incorporated Society of Organists, and Secretary of the Bournemouth Music Festival Competition.

Organ booklet for sale

Available is a booklet by our present organist, Daniel Campbell  giving interesting details of the latest organ restoration in 2006, together with specifications of previous instruments and interesting notes on former organists of the church. Price £2.00
