Children's service - Bournemouth Town Centre

If you would like to come to our church but have children to look after, then just turn up and we will look after them for you during the service. (Click here to find us on the map)

We have our own children's activity during the main service that we call Junior Church. Leaving your little ones with Junior Church will allow you to put your attention on your own worship and prayer.

The children first attend our main Sunday morning service for about quarter of an hour. During this time we sing a hymn or two with the adult congregation and listen to the Minister deliver a light hearted story aimed at the "young at heart".

After this, the little ones leave the main service and take part in bible based activities in  the Rainbow Room or the main lounge for the rest of the service.

Activities include, listening to stories, painting, drawing, model making, quizzes and so on. The emphasis is on informality, fun and creative learning.

On special occasions the children will revisit the main church towards the end of the service to take part in some celebration.

This happened just recently when the children gave out daffodils to all the ladies in the congregation on Mothering Sunday. It was a sweet occasion that touched many a mum's heart.
