Richmond Hill St. Andrews Church
A welcome at the heart of Bournemouth
Asking and receiving forgiveness from God and giving forgiveness to those who have harmed you is a central principle of the Christian faith. Forgiveness is a prominent theme in the Bible especially in the new testament.
The power of forgiveness to heal ancient hurts and conflicts is well documented in the Bible. But the reality of this awesome power of the Holy Spirit holds as good today as ever.
If you doubt the need and healing quality of forgiveness just read this true but amazing story from the horrors of apartheid rule in South Africa. Click on this link to get the download
If this short story inspires you then why not try praying to Christ yourself?
Pray to Christ to help you forgive wholeheartedly those who have upset or hurt you. If you can hold nothing back, you will find a powerful release from the negative emotions such as resentments, animosity, hatreds and so on that cause you so much harm and ill health. Once you have truly forgiven, then your heart can be open to a much deeper experience of love. This experience will be truly life changing both for you and for the people around you.

"It makes me think more deeply about things that really matter and it is good to be among like-minded, friendly, people, many of whom have become personal friends over the years."
“I especially value the guidance and refreshment I benefit from our Bible readings, that gives me the strength to help my family in their lives.”
Reading the Bible every day invigorates us, feeds our soul and helps prepare us for a life worthy of living.
We study the bible in three main ways.
Firstly, there is private study, carried out at home. Sometimes these private readings are guided by the various commentaries available from other authors.
Secondly, we listen to the readings from the scriptures during our church service. These readings are often then illuminated and expanded upon by our minister during his sermon. If you would like to read some of our recent inspiring and illuminating talks please click on the link to our sermons page.
Thirdly, from time to time we have bible study sessions led by the minister. These are open to all those who genuinely want to learn more about the Christian faith and how this faith can be introduced into our daily lives for the benefit of ourselves, our families and the wider community.
